Junior High 2012
During a particularly slow science class, my friend folded a paper balisong. It was a simple toy, but after he showed me a few basic tricks, I was hooked. I made a few of my own, but quickly came to the realization that paper and glue was not going to cut it. I began making balisongs out of wood and scraps found in my parents garage, eventually upgrading to cheap metal from the hardware store. When I first began posting images online, I would have never expected anyone to want to buy them. When requests started coming in, I knew it was time to step up my game.
